Here is a very nice deep tine aerator. Manufactured by Wiedenmann model XP-6 has a 63 inch working width, working depth of up 10 inches in the soil. Powered by PTO needs 45 hp tractor (min). Mounted by 3 point hitch category 1 or 2.  Can accommodate tines from 3/16 to 1 inch diameter. We purchased this unit new in 2004 for $24k and used it on 5 school ball fields.
